2019 Affirmation Statement Painting

Hello and Happy New Year!

I want to share something here that I posted on my Instagram Story the other day.

I seem to spend most of my time there and not even posting to the regular Instagram feed. I definitely need to be better about doing that and about creating new blog posts!

So, here I am sharing with you this kind of momentous thing that I did!

The painting that I did is based off of a tutorial that was posted on Instagram by artist, Amanda Evanston. You can see the tutorial in her highlights here.

What is this painting, anyway?

The essential idea is that you write positive statements about things that you want to be the truth for 2019. And then you phrase them as if they are already happening. Like one of mine is, “I write letters to my friends.” Another is, “I have sweet and easy relationships with my mom, husband and daughter.” So, you get the idea. And Amanda goes into it in detail in her highlights.

So watch this video now, it’s about 3 minutes and then go watch Amanda’s highlights and either do something like this for yourself or commission me to do it for you!!!
